PROJECT: 30 MORE Days of Bridal Bouquets ~ Day #16

Classic Rose Bridal Bouquet with a Unique Touch

Ruffles and crystals and lace and pearls & and a luscious combination of opulent roses in soft shades of ivory, blush pink and melon brought this bride’s flower visions to life for her elegant and blissful wedding celebration.

The bride had chosen an ivory satin wedding gown of elaborate design that came with a matching sash. The bride thought the ornate sash was “too much” and didn’t plan to use it, but her mother came up with a brilliant inspiration. She asked me if I thought we could use the sash, or at least a portion of it, to wrap the stems of the bridal bouquet.P2250628

I loved the idea and we were able to make it work, as you can see in the photos. It provided another one of those lovely touches that make every bride’s bouquet unique for her own special day.P2240556

Another unique detail I loved was that we used two different colors of pink to wrap the softly vibrant flowers of the bridesmaid bouquets. The bouquets looked fabulous against the attendants’ classic black chiffon gowns. P1030393
