PROJECT: 30 MORE Days of Bridal Bouquets ~ Day #20

An Extra-Special Bridal Bouquet

This was a very special bridal bouquet that a delighted grandmother created for her first grandchild on her fairytale wedding day. Yes, this “client” was my oldest granddaughter, and what a joy it was to create her wedding bouquets!

In the dead of winter in a mountain wonderland of snow and ice, this wedding celebration for one of my favorite Princesses and her Prince Charming was filled with warmth, happiness, and great joy.

The bridal bouquet was filled with huge ruffled carnations studded with crystals, soft buttercream roses, and masses of tiny pink & white wax flower buds that I had never seen before and have never seen since.

Of course, this darling bride is a girl after my own heart, and I love the colors she chose!  As I often say, flowers and colors have the power to set the mood of any occasion, and these flowers with their contrasting textures and lovely tints of palest pink and peach, French blue and silvery grey created a beautiful ambience for unforgettable wedding festivities set against a backdrop of snow and ice.

It was a truly glorious send-off in every way, and this blissful bride & groom have been living happily ever after ever since….

  1. THANK YOU, Rhonda! Now you can see why this was one of my “Top 10” – not just for the flowers, but for the great event!
As I’m sure you know, posting all these bouquets – reviewing all my photos, remembering all the details of each wedding adventure — has quite literally been the saving grace for me the last few months as I’ve gone thru all these health challenges. And once again, I see that those heavenly flowers have saved me. 🙂
I appreciate every word you respond, I truly do. Makes me so happy knowing you’re enjoying this project that I started just to brighten my days and give me something fun to focus on. It has had so many more positive consequences than I could have possibly imagined.
    Love you!
