Carmel wedding: Dining table centerpieces ~ two styles!

Post #4 of this gorgeous Carmel wedding: the reception table centerpieces.  

 Using 2 different shapes of rustic hand-formed ceramic vases we created two variations on the dining table centerpieces: half tall, half short, each one with a slightly different mix of colors and flowers – so fun to do!

We used the couple’s favorite blues & yellows, accented with soft whites and touches of peachy spray roses and tulips… and for an unexpected touch, lemons from the family’s lemon trees!

          Next two photos: some of the centerpieces lined up in the greenhouse we used as our floral studio, ready to be delivered to the spectacular wedding venue.

Next, a cartful of the same centerpieces, ready to be wheeled to the back lawn and placed on the dining tables.

      We used combinations of so many different flowers for these arrangements! Kiwi vine… crespidia… white agapanthus… roses, peony, larkspur… hydrangea, delphinium, stock, phlox… kangaroo paw, bells of Ireland, bella donna, fern ….and I’m sure I left out a few! What a treat to work with these lovely, amazing fresh flowers and be surrounded by their captivating energies.
